One Neighborhood Pride Award was given out at the Butler City Council on Thursday.
The residence at 810 Wood Street received recognition with owners Paul and Sherrie Frenchak accepting. A City of Butler Zoning and Code Enforcement Officer noticed the great job the Frenchaks were doing taking care of their property and he nominated them for this award.
A nomination application must be submitted to the four-person Neighborhood Pride Committee in order to be considered for an award. The purpose of the award is to recognize a residence or business in the city who has displayed obvious and abundant pride in their property.
