The City of Butler has released their guidelines for the proper disposal of leaves this fall.
Residents are asked to participate in curbside leaf collection by calling the Streets Department 724-285-8440 when leaves are ready for collection or for more information.
This service will continue through the first week of December.
The leaf disposal area at Memorial Park will NOT be open this year as a result of people dumping other brush, rubbish, and garbage there in the past. Leaf burning is also NOT permitted this year as a potential hazard to public health.
