The Butler City Police Department will be receiving an honor later today for their work in promoting safe driving.
AAA is awarding numerous police departments across Western Pennsylvania with their Community Traffic Safety Awards. The ceremony is taking place at noon today at the Marriott in Cranberry.
AAA says these police departments use educational programs and promotional campaigns that encourage safe driving habits.
