Authorities are continuing their investigation into a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the city of Butler.
According to Butler City Police, officers responded to a shooting in the 400 block of West New Castle Street just before 2:30 a.m. Officers were alerted by a neighbor, who said they heard yelling and a single gunshot.
During their investigation, officers found the victim to be 43-year-old Robert Green of Butler. Police say that Green suffered a gunshot wound through the shoulder, and was taken by ambulance to a Pittsburgh trauma center for treatment.
Officials say that Green was in stable condition and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
There was no information given on a potential suspect.
