Butler County’s new chief assessor attended her first commissioners meeting on Wednesday.
Amy Francis was hired in July to replace now-retired Butler County Chief Assessor Chris Savage. He was with the county for 33 years.
Francis comes to Butler from Erie County, where she worked as a GIS coordinator and assessor.
“I’m excited to be in this community,” Francis said to those gathered for Wednesday’s meeting. “Much of what I was just working on in Erie…Butler County is dealing with right now.”
She will be paid a salary of $71,500, with health and retirement benefits.
