A local organization has chosen several area charities to receive funding through grants.
The Butler County Bar Association Foundation presented six grants worth a total of nearly $20,000 during their quarterly meeting.
The Foundation made donations to Specialty Outreach Services, Middlesex Township Police K9 Unit, NAMI, Action in Recovery, Home for Hope, and the Butler County Alliance for Children.
The Foundation has distributed more than $94,000 since beginning their charitable mission in 2015 to help local non-profit organizations who assist people struggling with poverty, abuse, crime, and discrimination.
