Local business people are welcome to attend the first free networking event of the new year to be held later this week in Slippery Rock.
The Butler County Chamber of Commerce Mixer is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the North Country Brew Pub.
The evening will include a brief presentation by guest speaker Bob McCafferty about community engagement as well as a group dinner at the end of the event. The Butler County Young Professionals, Butler Collaborative for Families, and Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau are partnering with the chamber to sponsor.
