Students at Butler County Community College will showcase some of their efforts at several upcoming events.
First on Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the AK Steel Lobby of Succop Theater, nine students will present research exhibits as part of the Presidential Scholars program. Topics include the rise of female executives and the effect of exercise on dementia patients. The public is invited to attend and learn more about the latest research.
Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. this year’s Portfolio and Art Show is planned at BC3 Cranberry. The public is invited to view displays that include drawings, photography, digital audio and video production in the lobby and multi-purpose room. This showcase will also include live music and light refreshments with graphic design employers invited to view student work.
