Butler County currently ranks in the top 10 counties in the state for administering COVID booster shots.
According to state health data, there have been 7,277 county residents who have received a booster shot—ranking 8th overall in Pennsylvania. (This data excludes Philadelphia County, which has its own Department of Health.)
Overall, the county now has over 101,000 fully vaccinated residents. The numbers have continued to tick up as COVID cases, hospitalizations and deaths surge locally.
