The CDC is updating Butler County’s COVID community level into the low category.
This comes after two consecutive weeks of declining case counts. However, the CDC does note that COVID continues to be spread in the community.
There was a slight increase in local COVID hospitalizations. As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 12 patients for the coronavirus, with no one in the ICU. That’s up from nine patients last week.
The hospital also reported one COVID death to the Department of Health last week.
