Butler County will soon be releasing coronavirus relief funding to small businesses and non-profits.
County commissioners gave preliminary approval to 50 non-profits, and over 100 small businesses to receive funding provided through the federal CARES Act.
On average, most non-profits received $10,000 in funding and small businesses got $25,000. In total the county awarded a total of $443,000 to non-profits and about $2.3 million to small businesses.
