The upcoming 72nd concert season of the Butler County Symphony Orchestra will look a little different due to ongoing health concerns.
As part of an announcement made over the weekend by music director Matthew Kraemer, the Symphony will kick off their new year on Saturday, November 7th at 7:30 p.m. with a strings only program.
The annual Holiday Traditions Concert is planned for December 5th followed by a Scottish Reverie on February 6th, Symphonie Fantastique on March 6th, a collaboration with Butler Musical Theatre Guild on April 11th for Guys and Dolls, and a jazz program on May 1, 2021.
The symphony will continue to monitor the situation with COVID-19 and work on contingency plans in case alternative arrangements are needed to ensure the safety of patrons and musicians. Season subscription renewals will begin next week followed by a new subscriber period and all tickets on sale July 20th.
