The Butler County Symphony will be looking for their next conductor as current Maestro Matthew Kraemer has accepted another position beginning this fall.
Kraemer will be the next Music Director of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra in New Orleans starting in September.
Kraemer will continue to conduct the Symphony’s three remaining performances this season including Symphonic Dances on February 4th.
Kraemer will also participate in a joint effort between the Symphony and the Butler Area Public Library called Symphony Storytime in which he will read and discuss concert-themed children’s stories each Saturday morning before a concert.
