The first concert of the new Butler County Symphony season is coming up this weekend.
The opening performance of the 69th season is titled All Brahms and will take place Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Butler Intermediate High School. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a pre-concert lecture beginning at 6:30.
Maestro Matthew Kraemer will conduct selections including Hungarian Dances Number 5, Symphony Number 2 in D Major, and Double Concerto for violin and cello featuring two nationally and internationally known artists.
Tickets for this performance are $23 for an adult and $5.50 for a student. Tickets can be purchased at the Butler County Symphony office or online at butlersymphony.org.
