Local groups are marking America’s upcoming 250th anniversary with a special dedication ceremony tomorrow (Monday).
The Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau is joining with the Pennsylvania Freemasons and the local group AMERICA-250-Butler County to dedicate Butler County’s Liberty Tree.
The ceremony is planned for Monday at 4 p.m. at Moraine’s South Shore Park Office. Congressman Mike Kelly and County Commissioner Leslie Osche will make brief remarks.
The Liberty Tree Project will see a certified Liberty Tree planted in each of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties.
