Many gathered last night at the Grand Ballroom in Downtown Butler to honor those who have helped the city.
The Butler Downtown group held their annual celebration where they provided an update on projects the group has completed and residents who have made an impact on the area.
A handful of awards were given:
- Volunteer of the Year: Mikayla Moretti, BC3
- Small Business of the Year: Oliver Outdoor
- Economic Impact: Center for Community Resources
Brian McCafferty, formerly of KenMac rentals, and former Butler Radio General Manager Vicki Hinterberger were recognized for their support of Downtown Butler and given a key to the city.
