Butler’s Luke Michalek led Butler football to a win on Senior night at Butler High School Friday night beating Cannon McMillan 28-26.
The game began with Luke Michalek returning the opening kickoff for a 93 yard touchdown to make it 7-0. The Big Mac’s came right back and marched down the field to make it 7-7 on their first possession. On the kickoff, Luke Michalek once again returned it for a touchdown going 92 yards to make it 14-7. Butler lead 28-13 at halftime and Luke Michalek had two more touchdowns which included a 82 yard run. Michalek had over 400 total yards on the game.
Cannon McMillan battled back in the second half making the score 28-26 late in the 4th quarter and failed on a two point conversion attempt to lock up the Butler win.
The Golden Tornado end the season 3-6 overall and 1-5 in the conference.
