Butler high school graduate Terry Hanratty is one of 18-players announced Wednesday as inductees to the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025 by the National Football Foundation. Hanratty and the other former players will be joined by four coaches, including Nick Saban and Urban Meyer, who will be honored December 9th during an awards dinner in Las Vegas.
Hanratty was a quarterback at Notre Dame under head coach Ara Parseghian from 1966 to 1968, and helped lead the 1966 Fighting Irish team to a share of the national championship. He went on to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Among the players being honored with the Hall of Fame induction with Hanratty, are Michael Strahan and Michael Vick.
