The Butler Area Public Library continues to present activities as well as books and other resources to the community.
The Library is offering grab-and-go owl pellet dissecting kits for tweens and teens while supplies last. Then on Wednesday at 1 p.m. the library will release a special video from Jennings Environmental Education Center about discovering the secrets of the pellet.
The Library is hosting an Ice Cream Social on Saturday at noon to wrap up the summer reading challenge. In addition to ice cream, this event will include crafts, games, story time, and a chance to win prizes. Registration is suggested by contacting the library.
Recon Brewing continues to offer the “Overdue 1894” pale ale brewed for the Library’s 125th anniversary on their Karma Tap. This will allow for 15% of sales of that brew at both the Butler and Cranberry locations to benefit all nine Butler County Federated libraries around the county.
