The public is invited to attend several upcoming activities and events at the Butler Area Public Library.
Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Teen Zone, teens will have the chance to participate in a volunteer program designed for them to work on small projects to help the library while hanging out with friends.
Also on Thursday at 6 p.m. tweens are invited to create an adorable cuddly sock monkey. Registration is required for this event and those interested in participating should bring their own clean socks to use.
Finally, beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Basement Meeting Room, the library is offering an overview presentation about Alzheimer’s and Dementia. A speaker from Concordia Lutheran Ministries will discuss early warning signs as well as how a caregiver can cope with stress.
To register or for more information about any of these programs, those interested should call the library or stop by the front desk.
