The Butler Area Public Library will be showcasing a local photographer’s art for the rest of July and all of August.
The exhibit is called Lindsey Gifford Photography: Dark Naturalism. Gifford is a Butler County photographer who explores thematic scenes with photography.
The dark naturalism and moody imagery of the exhibit captures the elemental magic and stark beauty of the natural world. Gifford said she was influenced while on vacation in Hocking Hills State park in Ohio while hiking.
The exhibit is free to the public and can be found on the 2nd floor showcases and second floor gallery Butler Area Public Library.
