The Butler Area School District is preparing for future graduates with the approval of a deal for caps and gowns.
At their meeting Monday night, the board accepted a bid from Oak Hall Cap and Gown in the amount of nearly $25,000 over a three year period beginning in 2022.
This was the lowest of three bids received and works out to just over $8,000 per year.
Included in this deal are approximately 275 gold caps and gowns per year, approximately 275 white caps and gowns per year, along with 550 tassels, and approximately 100 Honor Cords each year.
