The Independence Health System is offering local residents garden fresh produce at several events beginning this week.
IHS is teaming up with the Butler County Farm Bureau and the Butler County Dairy Promotion Team to host a farmers’ market on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Brady Street Lobby of Butler Memorial Hospital.
In addition to access to fresh, locally sourced food items, such as fruits, vegetables, and dairy, vendors will be able to answer questions and education visitors about the products. Cash and credit payment methods vary by vendor.
Additional Farmers’ Markets are planned for August 22nd, September 19th, and October 24th.
