Butler Memorial Hospital is receiving acclaim for its services by a national healthcare watchdog organization.
The Leapfrog Group gave the hospital an “A” grade for their overall safety this past fall. The grade is assessed based on data reflecting errors, injuries, accidents, and infections that happen inside the hospital.
Hospital officials say they continually focus on safety and quality of patient care, especially over the last two years.
The Leapfrog Group awards the grades twice a year.
