Even though libraries across the state remain closed until further notice for the safety of the community and staff, Butler Area Public Library is celebrating National Library week online.
Local residents are invited to join staff in this daily Spirit Celebration through postings on the library’s Facebook Page.
Today is World Wide Wednesday with everyone encouraged to share a picture of a favorite place on the planet. Other plans for later in the week include Pajama Jammy Jam Thursday, Book Look Friday, and Silly Sock Saturday.
Friday at 10:30 a.m. a library employee will demonstrate a new craft on Zoom Conference. Then at 1:30 p.m. the Library will share a new genealogy help video on Facebook. These videos will also be posted to the Library’s Youtube channel.
Those with library cards can still access hundreds of free online resources at any time including e-books, e-magazines, downloadable videos, music, audiobooks, and databases.
