The Butler Radio Network has been recognized with two Communicator Awards through the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA).
The Communicator Awards is the leading international creative awards program honoring creative excellence for communication professionals. The winners of the 27th Annual Communicator Awards have officially been announced with over 5,000 entries received from across the US and around the world.
Butler Radio was honored with an Award of Distinction in a News category for the WISR’s Extended News at Noon segment called COVID – Where Are We? This was an interview with the Butler Health System Infectious Disease Specialist, Dr. John Love, educating the public on COVID-19.
Butler Radio was also recognized with an Award of Distinction in a separate News Program category. This interview was also from the WISR’s Extended News at Noon called BHS Nurses during COVID. This was an interview with the Butler Health System’s Chief Nursing Officer, Karen Allen, as she shared what the nurses at the Butler Memorial Hospital experienced throughout the past year.
Both interviews were hosted and produced by Butler Radio’s own Tracey Morgan.
