Butler Radio’s The Rock Station 97.7FM is celebrating 40 years by helping one new business get off the ground.
Any local business that has opened in the last year can apply for the Start-Up Business Contest, presented by DBS Telecommunications.
Submissions will be accepted beginning Aug. 1 through Aug. 23. One winner will be chosen to receive a comprehensive marketing package worth $20,000.

The Rock Station- under the call letters WLER- went on the air in 1979. It’s one of three radio stations operated under the Butler Radio Network.
