Several local organizations and businesses were honored Thursday during an annual event hosted by the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau.
“Toast To Tourism” was held virtually this year to recognize companies, businesses and individuals that enhance Butler County’s tourism industry. This year’s theme was “The Great Outdoors” and Secretary of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Cindy Adams Dunn gave the keynote speech.
The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival received an award for work with the annual festival which brings community pride and helps local businesses generate additional revenue.
President and General Manager of the Butler Radio Network, Vicki Hinterberger was recognized as the Ambassador of the Year for her volunteering and non-profit fundraising for various organizations.
The “Toast To Tourism” event has taken place for the past 15 years as part of National Travel and Tourism Week.
