Butler runner Griffith received second straight Gatorade Player of Year honor

Butler distance runner Drew Griffith has been named the Gatorade Boys Cross Country Player of the Year for the second consecutive year. Griffith captured a Pennsylvania state title and the Foot Locker National Championship in the past year. The award also recognizes excellence in the classroom and in the community. Drew maintained a 4.40 weighted GPA in the classroom and volunteers for several local organizations.
