The Butler Area School District has finalized a partnership with the City of Butler concerning Historic Pullman Park.
Monday night Butler School Board approved an agreement for operational management of the stadium with the City of Butler effective July 1st.
Superintendent Dr. Brian White anticipates rental fees and sponsorships sustaining operations with any additional money put away for future park expenses. White sees the district’s athletic department as responsible for park management but he will also take a central role in decisions to be made plus facilities department employees will be dispatched to the park as needed.
The City will continue to pay for repairs and renovations to Pullman Park including installation of new infield turf later this fall.
