The Butler Area School District has released their detailed plan for reopening schools this fall.
The district will be operating with in-person classes, five days a week from kindergarten through high school.
At the elementary level, the district is developing “self-contained socially distanced” classrooms. Meanwhile for 7th through 12th graders social distancing will happen when possible, but for a majority of the day students will have to wear face coverings.
The district is still offering three options for learning this year. Students can go to school for face-to-face classes or enroll in online courses. And students in the secondary levels can use the hybrid model—in class for two days and online for three.
