Local students will be taking the stage this weekend for the Butler Senior High School fall play.
According to director and teacher Dale Van Laningham, the name of the show is Just Another Snow Day.
“It’s a day in the life of a community and how they are affected by a snow day,” Van Lanningham said. “So there’s no school, and so the play shows what the kids are going to do, what the parents are going to do, and how the community deals with the snowfall. There’s things in the show everyone can relate to.”
Performances of this comedy will take place Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. at the Senior High School Auditorium. The show runs about 90 minutes.
Tickets are $10 per person general admission available at the door.
