High School Sports Tuesday:
Boys Basketball:
–Butler defeated North Allegheny 84-78, handing the Tigers their first loss of the season. Braydon Littlejohn netted 26 points for Butler. Devin Carney added 24. The Golden Tornado improved to 7-2 overall and evened their section record at 2-2. N.A. is now 8-1 overall and 2-1 in Section-1 of Class 6A.
–Top-ranked in Class 6A — North Hills defeated Pine-Richland 78-74. The Indians are now 7-0 overall and 3-0 in Section-1.
–Knoch-66 Derry-59. Ryan Lang led the Knights with 25.
–Mars-79 Indiana-30. Bryce Cunningham led the Planets with 20.
–North Catholic-86 Keystone Oaks-53.

–The Butler Hockey team defeated Montour 6-5 in overtime. Brody Simko led the Butler comeback effort with five goals and six points. Three of his goals were unassisted. Simko scored the game-winner with just over a minute remaining in the overtime period. Butler will travel to Delmont to meet Penn-Trafford next Monday.
–The Butler Rifle team defeated Armstrong 794-792.
