(2:30 p.m. Tuesday) Power has been restored to all Butler Township residents following an outage Tuesday.
Around 11 a.m. crews were called to an electrical pole near Highfield Road and Williard Avenue for a possible fire.
Crews reportedly had to shut down a portion of Highfield Rd. due to some live wires that had fallen. It’s unclear what caused the fire.
Power was restored shortly after 2 p.m. At the height of the outage about 1,100 residents were without power.
