Those searching for a new job may want to consider a couple of positions working for Butler Township.
At their meeting Wednesday, the Township Commissioners authorized the advertising of a Public Works Laborer position as well as a Buildings and Grounds Maintenance position.
The Township made a couple of hires to the Public Works department earlier this year to replace retirements but this hire will grow the department from 12 to 13 full time members.
The Township has only had one full-time Buildings and Grounds Maintenance employee in recent years but would like to get back to having two with this hire.
Details about position requirements will be posted to the Butler Township website with the application deadline set for later this month and hiring decisions made at meeting next month to begin work sometime later in October.
