The Butler Township District Magistrate officially has a new office.
County officials say that Judge Kevin O’Donnell and his staff are now at their new location on Fairground Hill Road in the former Friedman’s headquarters. The first cases were heard at the new court room on Tuesday.
The offices used to be located at the Sunnyview Complex.
Meanwhile, the District Magistrate’s office in the City of Butler is just weeks away from moving. Officials expect the new courtroom for Judge William Fullerton’s office will be ready by the first week of September. The magistrate will be moving from West Cunningham Street to the Pullman Plaza.
