Amended Butler Township zoning ordinances are one step closer to being enacted.
The Butler Township Planning Commission gave approval to the planned changes after hearing details at their meeting earlier this week.
Many of the changes deal with solar roof panels which were previously restricted from facing the street but technology improvements have allowed new panels to be more muted. Minor clarification has also been made to rules for driveways used by multiple properties.
A public hearing on the new ordinances will be held on Monday, December 19th at 7 p.m. A vote to finalize those changes could be taken by Butler Township Commissioners later that night.
