Butler Township has finalized a job description for a new administrative position.
At their meeting earlier this week, Township Commissioners approved a position summary and essential duties for a Director of Emergency Services.
This person will provide oversight for the Butler Township Volunteer Fire Department as well as perform the duties of Fire Marshal. This person will report directly to the Township Manager with a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in fire service required.
A salary has not yet been attached to this position and it has not yet been posted but that is likely to take place later this year.
