The Butler VA says they housed over 100 veterans who were experiencing homelessness in the last 12 months.
During the past fiscal year, 109 veterans were given shelter at the VA. Officials also say over 98 percent of those veterans have not returned to homelessness.
The VA nationally is taking steps to combat veteran homelessness, including releasing a framework for homelessness prevention this week.
