The Butler VA is expanding telehealth options for veterans outside of the area.
Officials with the organization say they’re offering new tele-audiology services to veterans who receive care in Lawrence County.
This will allow patients to meet and receive services with the audiologist at the Butler VA, without having to travel to the facility.
“The Butler VA’s Connected Care Department is using virtual technology to improve access for Veterans and provide health care beyond traditional doctor’s office visits,” Breigh Speidel, Connected Care Program Manager said in a statement. “Tele-Audiology, our newest program, saves Veterans time and travel to the main Butler VA facility.”
If veterans are interested in the service, they should talk with the primary care provider.
