A nationally recognized program to help local elementary students become future innovators is coming to Evans City this week.
Camp Invention, the nonprofit summer enrichment camp program will be offered to students in kindergarten through sixth grade at Evans City Middle School Monday through Thursday.
This year’s curriculum will promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math learning as well as build resourcefulness and problem solving skills.
Hands-on activities will include inventing island survival tools and underwater equipment, performing a DNA experiment, and reverse engineering a remote controlled robot.
