Despite one candidate declaring victory in the 17th Congressional District, nothing has been made official.
The race between Democrat Conor Lamb and Republican Sean Parnell is currently neck-and-neck. Last night however, Lamb declared victory arguing that the mail-in ballots will show he has more votes.
Now, earlier this morning Parnell released a statement saying it’s important that poll workers should “continue their work, count every legal vote, and let the process play on until its rightful conclusion.”
So far, no national outlets have made a call in the race.
