A local woman was injured after she was struck by a vehicle last week in Franklin Township.
According to State Police, a 56-year-old Butler woman was walking on Route 422 (New Castle Road) just before 8am on Thursday when she walked in front a car making a turn onto the roadway.
Authorities say that the car then struck the woman, who suffered minor injuries. She was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment.
No other parties were involved.
