A road worker was injured after he was struck by a vehicle last week in Slippery Rock Township, Butler County.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a construction zone was located on the southbound side of New Castle Road on Thursday (August 27th). Authorities say that just before 1pm, a vehicle driven by an 82-year-old Slippery Rock man crested the top of the hill before striking a flagger stationed nearby.
Police say that the flagger then rolled approximately 20 feet following the impact. He was later transported to Grove City Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries.
