Carl William St Clair, age 86, of Butler, peacefully passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021 with his family by his side.
Born September 11, 1934 in Portersville, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary Allen St Clair.
He was a truck driver, worked at the former Halsted-Mitchell Industries, drove cars for the Auto Auction, and then retired as a custodian for the Seneca Valley School District.
He was a US Army Veteran.
Carl was a member of the White Oak Springs Church, where he was a former Trustee. He was a life time member of the Connoquenessing Vol. Fire Department. He enjoyed tinkering and camping with his wife.
He is survived by his loving wife Marie Gilliland St Clair, whom he married October 20, 1956; his children Kathi (Bill) Monpere of Evans City, William (Valjean) St Clair of Deland, FL., Rodney (Gretchen) St Clair of Bulter, Randy (Tracy) St Clair of Evans City; his 5 grandchildren Nichole (Mike), Billy (Rachel), Scarlett (Ryan), Matthew (Whitney), and Connor; 3 great granddaughters, and 1 great grandson; his poodle “Pepper”; his siblings Zelma St Clair Musser of New Castle and Eddie St Clair of Volant.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be on Thursday 5pm to 7pm, with the Funeral Service to follow at 7PM, at the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, PC., 387 Main Street, Prospect. Tom Marlow, of the White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
Services will conclude with military honors by the Butler VFW and Am Legion Veteran Ceremonial Honor Guard.
