Carmen W. Mendicino, age 75, of Butler, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Butler on August 21, 1942, he was a son of the late William Mendicino and Jennie Cherry Miller.
Carmen was retired from Pullman Standard, where he worked as a laborer.
He was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
Carmen is survived by his wife, Janet Kamerer Mendicino, whom he married October 11, 1989; one son, John Mendicino, of Butler; one stepson, Scott Barger, of Butler; two stepdaughters, Pamela Barnhart and her husband, Ronald, of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Cindy Mocherman, of Angola, IN; one brother, Leland Miller, Jr., of Butler; and three step-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Leland “Poosie” Miller, Sr.
There will be no visitation.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, June 2, at 1 p.m. at the Butler Arbors, 200 Lincoln Avenue, Butler.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler.
