The four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh are now closed to the public through Sunday, January 3rd.
This decision was made in order to comply with new COVID-19 restrictions announced by the administration of Governor Tom Wolf last week.
The four facilities including the Carnegie Science Center have been open to the public with safety guidelines since June 26th. The museums will continue to offer virtual experiences through the holiday season.
The Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium is also temporarily closed to the public through January 3rd but the Zoo Lights Drive Thru will continue as planned.
