Those in the autism spectrum or with special sensitivity to light or sound are invited to visit the Carnegie Science Center today.
The Center is offering Sensory Sensitive Science Hours from 9 a.m. to noon with four floors of modified exhibits.
In addition to the modified lighting and sound effects, visitors during this time will have the opportunity to create 3D projects to take home at the Sensory Sensitive Fab Lab Maker Workshops. Seating is limited and pre-registration by contacting the Science Center is required.
Another Sensory Sensitive Science Hours Day is planned for August 15th.
