The Carnegie Science Center is providing the best local vantage point to observe an upcoming meteor shower.
The Science Center’s SkyWatch event will take place Tuesday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. with a special focus on the Perseid Meteor Shower.
Even though a bright moon is expected to limit the number of meteors visible this year, many of the brightest streaks will still be visible with the guidance of the Science Center’s astronomy experts and using the Science Center’s top-notch telescopes.
Tickets for this event are $2 for museum members and $4 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the Science Center.
