Carol Sue Mowery

Carol Sue Mowery, 72, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023 at Butler Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 12th, 1950 to the late Lloyd and Ceola (Jack) Rodgers. Carol was employed for 43 years at the Butler Memorial Hospital as a central sterile tech until her retirement in 2012. She loved bears and had a large collection of bear figurines. Carol enjoyed bowling, playing cards, board games with the grandchildren, baking cookies, bingo, and trips to the casino. She will be sadly missed by her beloved son Paul (Jennifer) Mowery; grandchildren Kylee, Noah, and Emma Mowery; sister Reba Doutt; brother in law William Lackey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Lenny Rodgers; sister Phyllis Lackey; infant daughter; great niece Chelsey Lackey, and great nephew Nathan Eakin.
